We’re entering the final week of play. Mike is leading with 110 points on the ladder, but Chris H. still has a shot at the Warlord title if the dice roll in his favor. Official league games must be completed by September 22, and results must be in the reporting thread by September 25. Results will then be tallied up and the winners announced. Thanks to everyone for making this a fun, competitive league! We’ll be taking a few weeks off to enjoy some fun games, but we’ll be hitting up Tour 3 of Call to Arms before the end of the year!

Updates have been slow, but the league continues in full force. After four weeks of play, Mike and the forces of Circle Orboros have a commanding lead of 31 points over Jolli and the Protectorate of Menoth. There’s still three weeks of play to shake things up, and Zach’s Khador army relentlessly fights, trailing Jolli by only a point. This league is far from decided and the Call to Arms still rages. Ladder bonuses are starting to make a play as various players pull out wins over the leaders.

Keep an eye on the scores, and if you’re a WARMACHINE or HORDES player in the Columbus, Ohio area, or even just interested in the game, feel free to join our forums and/or come out and meet us at Ravenstone Games on Wednesday nights!

The Call to Arms league has begun! Last night was the kickoff of Week 1 of The Liberation of Umbrey. All league members are asked to post their scores in the forum by Friday, August 7th so that results can be tallied and the ladder can be updated. Don’t forget there is a maximum of three games per week. Some helpful links for those in the league:

We’ll be back at Ravenstone on Sunday to finish getting our games in.  Scores will be updated on the league standings page on Saturday, August 8th.

Last night’s WARMACHINE/HORDES night was a success, with some new people coming to check out the game.  Next week the games begin to count for league play, so the final night of practice came in handy.  Mike and his Circle of Orboros defeated Chris’ Cygnar force after a hardfought battle.  Jolli’s Legion of Everblight force handily destroyed Pepper’s Cryx army when Asphyxious was left with an open line of sight in turn two.  Mike’s Circle faced Zach’s Khador in the final game of the night, with Mike again emerging victorious.

Everyone is working to get their lists ready for the 750 point league games.  With the way people talked last night, chances are some surprise additions to everyone’s army will be making an appearance to the dismay of their opponents.  We will keep a “play by play” if you will of our Wednesday night games as the league moves forward.

The new site is up!  Although there are still tweaks to be made, you’ll find the new and improved forums are live, as well as an events calendar to see what is coming up!  The links across the top are still anchored to nowhere, but that will change as the next couple of weeks progress.  I’ll be putting up our Call to Arms information in the Leagues link as soon as we know more.  Feel free to drop a comment my way with any suggestions you might have as to how I can make this site work for us.

Play Like You’ve Got A Pair!  The league kit is here and we’re meeting tomorrow night to begin discussing the details for Privateer Press’ 2009 Call to Arms.  We’ll have all the details posted for those interested in participating on Thursday.  In the meantime, if you haven’t already registered, head to our forums and register for an account to take part in the madness!
